Mindy Agler, LMHC
Ms. Agler received a BA in Psychology from Barnard College, NYC, in 1978 and her Master’s Degree in counseling from Florida Atlantic University in 2001. She has experience working with addicts and alcoholics and their family members both in inpatient and private outpatient settings. She worked as a primary therapist at The Watershed Treatment Center in Boca Raton, FL and at Orchid Treatment Center in Lake Worth, FL. She also had a private practice in Boca Raton. Mindy specializes in addressing family issues and the spiritual components of recovery, focusing on helping clients tap into their natural resilience to make positive changes in their lives. Mindy has experience educating parents about ways to decrease the likelihood of their children drinking or using. She has also served as the Jewish Congregational Projects Coordinator of Faith Partners, Inc., helping synagogues develop Recovery Teams to address addiction and recovery issues with their members. She has been a member of the Task Force on Addiction and Recovery of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. She relocated to Tavernier, FL, in the Florida Keys, in 2012, where she now has a private practice at 91831 Overseas Highway.
