Insurance

Currently, Buttonwood Counseling accepts Blue Cross-Blue Shield and Aetna. If you have other insurance, Buttonwood Counseling can see you in the office of Drs. Diaz and Ginsberg in Tavernier. For those with no insurance, Buttonwood Counseling makes arrangements for private payment.

Length of sessions

We meet with clients for 30-min. 45-min. 60-min. or 90-min. intervals; fees are based on session length.

Duration of sessions

We suggest you book regular weekly appointments at the beginning of our work together in order to understand your goals and show you how to make changes that will benefit your mental health. After a few weeks you may want to decrease the frequency of sessions. You may find you want a longer time in-between appointments for assignments, reflection, and journaling. We will decide together what works best.

what if I have limited resources for treatment $ and also will I be provided documents to courts or family that I am being treated or document of success or something of proof.

    • I invite you to look at the new post about the relapse prevention and recovery support group at the new office. It’s very affordable and might be a good place to start. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
